Welcome to the Sonora High School Library

The mission of Sonora’s library is to provide materials that help support student learning, student success, and the development of effective information users. There is a range of resources available, including textbooks, recreational and research materials, and research databases. Refer to the links on the left-hand side to browse through general library information and expectations, our library catalog, research databases, and some other helpful resources.

Library Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm 

Closed: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm Daily (Schedule may change whether it’s a Late Start, Assembly, or any other day with an adjusted schedule.)

General Guidelines
 

  • Students are allowed up to 5 checkouts at one time.
     
  • Students can borrow books for 3 weeks at a time.
     
  • Students may renew their checkouts for an additional 3 weeks, as long as no one else has placed a hold on the item. 
     
  • Students are not charged fees for overdue books. However, they will be responsible for any lost book fees. The standard charge for lost books is $25.
